At the outset of your job, we follow a safety protocol designed to protect ourselves, our clients, and the surrounding environment.

First up is a pre-start site assessment which measures hazards and potential risks.

We then initiate a protective practice to compensate and allay. For at-height or overhead work, we’ll look at the possibility of falling material, the safe use of ladders and scaffolds, and how to operate at roof level and above whilst using cranes, harnesses, and elevated work platforms.

Working competently around pits and trenches, tanks, shafts, and confined spaces is considered, and our equipment is checked for current WoF/ test tags, machine guards, RCDs and leads. External hazards come under our eagle eye, too, and public protection is paramount.

We’ll erect signage and barriers, reconduct passing traffic (if necessary), look out for chemicals in the area and check our proximity to facility services such as gas, water, and power.

We make every attempt to control dust and debris and aim to operate when our machinery noise will be less of an impact.
